An alarm signal!

The diversity of the microbiome is decreasing – especially in the industrialized world...

Bacteria, viruses and fungi (microbes) can support people especially when many different species populate the body.

The problem: The diversity of microbes hashas decreased significantly in recent decades.

👉🏼 Why?

Our lifestyle, our diet and our use of medication

What happens if the system is disrupted?

Thousands of different species of bacteria live in the gut of a healthy person. These play a key role in our digestion. As the microbiome, intestinal bacteria also influence numerous other processes in the body, such as the immune system.

Dietary intake, antibiotics, or other environmental influences can lead to a lack of bacteria or shift the proportions of different bacterial groups. This weakens the immune system. Many experts believe that many lifestyle diseases, such as allergies or food intolerances, are linked to a disrupted microbiome in the gut.

Less fiber = fewer good bacteria
