Simple hygiene rules when coughing and sneezing protect others from infection

A runny nose and cough are typical symptoms of many respiratory infections. When coughing and sneezing, countless pathogens are released via saliva and nasal secretions, which can be transmitted to others via droplets.


Etiquette for sneezing not only helps with polite manners, but also with hygiene and health. When you sneeze, respiratory droplets are released from the mouth and nose. These contain various pathogens that can contaminate everything they come into contact with.


Not correct:


1) Into the air to sneeze: The Germs spread so into the atmosphere and can be inhaled by other people
